Aymee & Michael's Wedding

Keri Blue Photography, Roseburg Oregon Wedding Photographer, Senior Portrait Artist, Infant and Child Photographer

We have been so excited for Aymee and Michael's wedding! After spending time with them in Seattle, and getting to know them so well, we knew it would be a wonderful day. It really was everything that we thought it would be! They both looked amazing!!! The setting was gorgeous and the details were simple and elegant. Everything was a true reflection of who Aymee and Michael are. They were married at the Settlemeier House in Woodburn, Or.

It was a beautiful day!

There were lots of special moments that happened throughout the day that added to the romance of their wedding. Adam and I both have commented to each other, several times since their wedding, about the way they treated each other. Throughout the day we watched them together, and we saw a sweetness between them that was so special. I don't know how to put it to words other than to say that they were gracious and kind and gentle with each other. I loved watching them encounter decisions that would have brought tension to other relationships (like Adam and I... :) ) and they would just gently and sweetly come to a conclusion that kept everyone happy. It was really amazing and beautiful.

I love being a wedding photographer! We work with so many wonderful couples! I love the fact that we get to spend our days with people who are deeply in love with each other--and even better, I get to be there with my wonderful husband, too!!!

Aymee and Michael, thank you for choosing us as your wedding photographers. It has been so wonderful getting to know you better! We are so happy for you!

Wedding Photography was a point of contention between my husband and I while planning our big day. Michael didn't feel as though we needed to spend much money on photographs. I, of course, thought photography needed a more substantial portion of the budget.

While in the early stages of planning, we attended the Bridal Show at the Douglas County Fairgrounds together. When Michael saw Keri's booth and samples of her work, his opinion about photography was changed. Keri and Adam were both very easy to talk with, and were very knowledgeable, not only about photography, but the wedding business in general. We mutually decided to book them then and there.

In months before our wedding, every time I called Keri she made me feel as though I was the only bride she was dealing with. I know she was booked every weekend last summer, but she was always full of ideas that were unique to my wedding, and she never rushed me off the phone. On the rare occasion that I had to leave a message, my phone call was always returned promptly.

Our wedding would have not been the same if Keri and Adam had not been a part of it. As with all weddings a few things were behind schedule in the morning, Keri placed all the linens on my tables, and Adam helped the groomsmen finish set up. We had gotten to know the two of them so well over the winter and spring they felt more like guests than "vendors."

The photos from our wedding day are so beautiful, and will be cherished for years to come. I am confident, that anyone looking at the images will be able to see not just the skill behind the camera, but the love and care put into each and every frame. Michael and I now count the Blue Family as friends, and it is a friendship we look forward to cultivating through the years. Thank you Keri, for everything.
