I have two beautiful little girls and an amazing husband. I feel very lucky that Adam and I get to work together--and we ENJOY it!

Our goal is to capture beautiful images that tell a story for you to cherish.

The highest compliment that anyone can pay to me is a referral to a friend. If you like what you see...pass my name along!

Thanks for taking time to check out my work!

So, have I ever mentioned that I have the BEST clients EVER??!!!! Seriously-- love my job! Keri and Cody are clients who have become really good friends. During their family Christmas session we started talking about lambs and about how fun it would be to bring a baby lamb into the studio and photograph our girls with it. Well, Keri called me one day and said that they had a brand new baby lamb that was being bottle fed, so it would be really tame for pictures. She brought the lamb in the next day and we were able to get really fun pictures.
-
It was so sweet! It would lay there on their laps while the girls got to hug, kiss, and pet it. This was a dream come true for my little Kate! She is such an animal lover! (We think that she will either work for PETA or be a Veterinarian some day--because she loves all creatures!)
-
Haylee, on the other hand, is usually unsure of anything new. This proved to be true with the lamb, as well. She does this hysterical crying laugh when she is nervous about something--but really wants to try it. If you look closely (past the smile) you can see the tears in her eyes. Oh, sweet, conflicted Haylee. :) Actually, you may not be able to see them because of the picture size and image quality (Arghh! I hate what Blogger does to my images!) on Blogger, but trust me, they are there! For Reece's response to all of the commotion, see the next post.
-
When we were done, Keri had brought a bottle for the lamb and Kate got to feed him! We tried to get Haylee and Reece to participate, but they weren't nearly as interested in it as Kate.
She went straight to work!
The look of concentration on her face in some of the pictures cracks me up!

Thank you so much Keri and Cody! This will be such a fun memory for the girls!

Adorable!!!!
That's what little Reece is! She was completely comfortable with the baby lamb. You could definitely tell who lives on a farm out of the three girls! :) Haylee was terrified of the lamb, Kate was completely enamored with the lamb, while Reece was wondering what all the excitement was all about--especially the tears. "It's a lamb...what's the big deal? I see these every day." Then she would pull it in close and snuggle with it. So cute!
This was so much fun! Thanks again, Keri and Cody, for providing the lamb! You've got an adorable little cow girl!

Alicia and Hannah

Keri Blue Photography, Roseburg Oregon Senior Portrait Artist, Family Portraits, Maternity Portraiture, Infant and Child Photography

My Session with Alicia and Hannah was so much fun!
We met early in the morning for our session when the light was just beautiful! The reason for their session was very special. Alicia's horse, Red, is 31 years old. Both Alicia and Hannah are very involved in 4H. Alicia participated in 4H with Red for 9 years and now Hannah is riding Red in 4H events with Alicia as her riding coach. This week is Red's last time at Fair. After this year they are going to retire him.

It's a sad time for the girls and they really wanted to do something to celebrate his legacy. That's where I came in! :) They had me meet them at two of their favorite places to ride and that's where we photographed them. We started off at SKS Ranch and then we went to the Myrtle Creek Arena and walked down to the creek just behind the arena. Alicia and Hannah were so fun and full of ideas...and willing to try fun angles and poses for me!
Thanks for being so much fun and thank you for having me help as you celebrate this beautiful horse!
Enjoy your pictures!

Dolly

Dolly and Bill came to my studio for a really touching session. Dolly was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer and only has a few more months. I am an animal lover, and for this session I had a lump in my throat the entire time--but I nearly cried when Bill started telling me about Dolly and what she means to him. I had to swallow a lot to keep the tears away. ;) Dolly is more than a pet. Dolly has been Bill's right-hand working dog on the ranch for 11 years. It was amazing to watch the way Dolly focused on Bill. She was aware of his every move the entire time they were with me. Bill's wife, Sharon, and I were having a hard time getting Dolly to look at the camera, because she only wanted to look at Bill. Finally, Sharon had an idea, so she grabbed the spurs and jingled them in the air. Instantly, Dolly's working instincts kicked in. Her ears went up and she was ready to go! Dolly will be missed.
